 "Blackjack Mulligan" November 26, 1942 - April 7, 2016
Our hearts are heavy but also comforted in knowing, that our dear friend, Robert Windham, has returned Home and is resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord.
Robert "Blackjack" Windham died Thursday, April 8, 2016, after a long fought battle with health problems. We had the honor of not only ordaining him, but also calling him our friend.
We grew up watching Robert aka "Blackjack Mulligan" as a wrestling icon, and what a great wrestler he was! In 2012, we had the honor and pleasure of meeting him when he asked to be ordained through Divine Hearts Ministry. Robert said he wanted to use his notoriety as a platform to bring more people to Christ, and that's exactly what he did. His heart and soul were filled with the love of our Lord, and we know that extra bright star that shines from the Heavens tonight, is Robert smiling saying, I'm Home".
I am home in heaven, dear ones. Oh, so happy and so bright! There is a perfect joy and beauty In the everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, Every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, Safely home in heaven at last. There is work still waiting for you, So you must not idly stand, Do it now, while life remaineth . . . You shall rest in God's own land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; Oh, the rapture of that meeting Oh, the joy to see you come!
