A devout life does bring wealth, but it's the rich simplicity of being yourself before God. Since we entered the world penniless and will leave it penniless, if we have bread on the table and shoes on our feet, that's enough.
(1 Timothy 6:5-6 Message).
There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.
Since we pertain to our heavenly Father He will provide for all our needs. Bread and shoes are a symbol for a modest lifstyle. But over all we have the unlimited love of our Father. He loves us and so we can love our neighbour in the same manner as He does. We are an expression of the limitless love of God to all of the beings. Let's price His name!
